The aerospace industry in Tunisia took off in 1998 with the establishment of SEA Latelec (Latecoere Group). This pioneering move was quickly followed by other major players such as Sabena Technics, Zodiac Aerospace (now Safran), Aerotech, Ségneré, etc., as well as Aerolia (now Airbus Atlantic), with the launch of the El Mghira Aerospace Park project in 2009. This project, involving seven aerospace companies, led to the creation of a park with an integrated supply chain, thereby paving the way for a dynamic and rapidly growing sector.
