From 7 to 9 July 2026, Tunisia hosted the 5th edition of Aerospace Meetings Tunisia, a major event for the aerospace industry, co-organised by Advanced Business Events, GITAS and FIPA Tunisia.

The event brought together more than 500 participants and 85 exhibitors, including manufacturers, equipment suppliers, experts, international decision-makers and representatives of Tunisian institutions. The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr Samir Abdelhafidh, Minister for the Economy and Planning, whose presence underscored the Tunisian authorities’ support for the development of the aerospace sector.

Under the theme ‘Building the Aerospace Supply Chain of Tomorrow’, this year’s event provided a forum for discussion on the key challenges shaping the future of the sector: the resilience and competitiveness of supply chains, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, sustainable aviation and decarbonisation, talent and skills development, innovation, R&D and advanced manufacturing.

The discussions brought together key players from the international aerospace industry, including AIRBUS, BOEING, the MECACHROME GROUP, LATECOERE, EMBRAER, HUTCHINSON, FIGEAC AERO, GROUPE AEROPROTEC, GIFAS, BDLI and SPACE AERO, providing an ideal platform to strengthen ties, develop new partnerships and showcase the capabilities of Tunisia’s aerospace ecosystem.

This fifth edition thus confirms Tunisia’s position as a competitive and attractive aerospace hub, and reinforces the momentum for the development and integration of the Tunisian aerospace sector into global aerospace value chains.

Participation in Aerospace Meetings Tunisia 2026 was supported by Invest for Jobs, through the project ‘Partnerships for Employment and Support for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Tunisia II’, commissioned by the BMZ and implemented by GIZ Tunisia, under the supervision of the Tunisian Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy.
