The Tunisian Aerospace Industries Group (GITAS) and the Technical Center for Mechanical and Electrical Industries (CETIME) have taken a new step in their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the GITAS plenary meeting held on January 28, 2026.
This strategic partnership reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to the development, innovation and competitiveness of the aerospace industry in Tunisia.
The MoU was signed by Ms. Stefania Sonia Dallali, President of GITAS, et Mr. Noureddine Guizani, Director General of CETIME, in the presence of GITAS members gathered for this plenary meeting.
This partnership formalizes an existing cooperation between the two institutions and paves the way for new initiatives around several strategic axes:
- Strengthening innovation, research and development (R&D);
- Skills development and specialized training;
- Consolidation of industrial value chains and support for companies in the sector;
- Promoting the ecological and energy transition.
Through this collaboration, GITAS and CETIME commit to pooling their expertise, promoting technological innovation, supporting the skills development of industrial players and supporting the implementation of structuring projects, in line with the guidelines of the Tunisia 2035 Industrial Strategy..
