From June 10 to 14, 2026, GITAS participated in ILA Berlin 2026, the premier event for the aerospace, defense, and advanced technology industries, held in Berlin.

Through its presence, GITAS showcased the expertise of the Tunisian aeronautics industry and the dynamism of its ecosystem. This participation served to highlight the capabilities of member companies, present investment opportunities in Tunisia, and strengthen ties with manufacturers, prime contractors, investors, and international partners.

As part of efforts to strengthen ties between the Tunisian and German aeronautics ecosystems, GITAS has continued its collaboration with the BDLI (German Aerospace Industries Association), an initiative launched in 2025. A strategic meeting was held with BDLI representatives, providing an opportunity to discuss cooperation opportunities and prospects for developing industrial partnerships between the two sectors.

GITAS also held a meeting with Hamburg Aviation, a key player in the German aviation ecosystem, to explore potential areas of cooperation and strengthen ties between the two associations. These discussions mark an important step in building new synergies between the Tunisian and German aviation industries.

The numerous discussions held throughout the trade show confirmed the growing interest of international players in the Tunisian aeronautics sector, which is recognized for its competitiveness, industrial expertise, and development potential.

Through this participation, GITAS continues its commitment to boosting the international profile of the Tunisian aeronautics industry, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing Tunisia’s appeal as a premier destination for the aeronautics, space, and advanced technology sectors.
